Meet Trần Thái Bình — co-founder of Green Beli Farm in Gia Lai, Vietnam. He also known online as Anh Nông Mê Nói (A Talkative Farmer): an inspiring advocate for sustainable farming and environmental activism.
Trần Thái Bình is a true agricultural engineer with significant contributions. He is the founder of 'Hearty Plant Doctor' - the first podcast in Vietnam dedicated to sharing in-depth knowledge about organic agriculture, creating a valuable resource that helps Vietnamese people easily access the path to sustainable farming
Even with nearly a decade in agriculture and a formal degree in Crop Science, he still prefers being called “just a farmer.”
But don’t let the modesty fool you. His small farm grows tropical fruits and a forest of pine trees, and more importantly, it grows awareness. Every year, Bình opens his farm to students, teaching them about the land, sustainability, and why protecting our environment and developing agriculture matters. In July, he organized a farm visit for local students, in collaboration with the Empower Youth4Food campaign and the ENVI Club, giving them hands-on experience with sustainable agriculture.
