Company visit to Green Beli Farm

FROM THE SOIL OF GIA LAI, BIG DREAMS ARE TAKING ROOT 🌱

Our “Young Shoots, Big Dreams” experience, co-hosted by the ENVI Club and Green Beli Farm, began with the simple act of turning the soil. Yet it quickly grew into something deeper: a powerful exchange between the land and the aspirations of tomorrow’s leaders.

A collaboration: Empower Youth4Food x ENVI x Green Beli Farm

On July 5th, we organized a meaningful company visit to Green Beli Farm with 21 students from Pleiku ward. Traveling to Gia Lai province, the group embarked on a journey that turned out to be about much more than just farming.

Our “Young Shoots, Big Dreams” experience was made possible through a powerful collaboration with two inspiring local partners. We joined forces with the ENVI Club, a club established by a group of young people who share a love for the environment in Pleiku ward, Gia Lai province, with the desire to spread a green lifestyle and raise awareness about environmental protection among the local people, and Green Beli Farm, our impact partner. Founded with a mission to champion sustainable agriculture in Vietnam, the farm practices responsible agroforestry and serves as an open hub for community education, making it the perfect setting to plant seeds for the future.

They say to dream big — and last weekend, alongside the youth of Gia Lai, we planted over a hundred of them. Quite literally: together, the group planted more than 100 young pine trees on the farm, each one a living symbol of their hopes taking root.

The day began with the simple act of turning the soil, yet it quickly grew into something deeper: a powerful exchange between the land and the aspirations of tomorrow’s leaders.

Highlight of the day

A highlight of the day was an inspiring talk by Mr. Trần Thái Bình, co-founder of Green Beli Farm and our dedicated youth ambassador. As an agriculture graduate himself, he shared candid stories of his entrepreneurial journey: from early struggles to hands-on work in other regions, all fueled by his vision to uplift his homeland’s agriculture.

In the cozy setting he created, “big dreams” were finally given a voice. One student shared his wish to “lay a brick with my own hands to develop our homeland’s agriculture.” Another spoke of wanting to “bring advanced technology back to our home” and ultimately “put Vietnamese agriculture on the world map.”

In these moments, we didn’t just hear ambitions; we heard the personal stories and passions driving their commitment to sustainable action.

“The sky above our hometown is the same sky that stretches across our nation.”

As we stood on the farm, we all came to the same realization: the sky above our hometown is the same sky that stretches across our nation (Vùng trời quê hương nào cũng là vùng trời tổ quốc). Each local effort becomes a vital part of the broader journey toward national sustainable agriculture.

Fueled by the enthusiasm and dedication of these young people, we have every reason to believe the future of Vietnam’s agriculture is in strong hands.

A big thank you to Green Beli Farm, the ENVI Club, and the incredible students of Gia Lai for making this an unforgettable experience.
