BUSINESS FORUM: “Salty Soils, Shared Solutions: Vietnam and the Netherlands Dialogue on Salinity for Horticulture Development in the Mekong Delta”

The business forum is jointly organized by the Agricultural Department of the Embassy of the Netherlands in Vietnam and the Consulate General of the Netherlands in Ho Chi Minh City. This forum aims to foster cooperation and facilitate the exchange of innovative solutions and technical knowledge between stakeholders in Vietnam and the Netherlands with ultimate goal of developing an integrated approach to mitigate the effects of salinity in the horticulture sector in the Mekong Delta.

The event will provide a platform to:

  • Discuss current and emerging salinity-related challenges affecting horticulture;

  • Showcase innovative technologies, practices, and business solutions from both countries;

  • Foster partnerships and strengthen bilateral cooperation between Vietnamese and Netherlands stakeholders.

Empower Youth4Food campaign will participate in the forum to showcase the role and contributions of young professionals and youth-led initiatives in addressing salinity challenges and advancing climate-resilient, sustainable agri-food systems across Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
